Who we are

The Manford organization owns four companies in Taiwan, including Manford, Avemax, Automac Smartauto and Manford Guarding Co. Ltd.

Our product range is wide. We produce 5 axis machining centers, Double column, Vertical machining centers, Horizontal machining centers, Tapping center, CNC lathe.

A multi-talented R&D team is able to integrate advanced design into products, as well as supplying machines on an OEM/ODM basis and providing special solutions to meet user requirement variables.

Our history

Back in 1987, President James Hsieh founded "Manford Machinery Co., LTD", focusing on manufacturing and sales of high-quality machine tools.
Manford offers various products to satisfy customers. Today, our products are sold worldwide and in the fields of aeronautics, high-tech electronics, automobile etc.


1987

Manford Machinery Co., Ltd. was founded by Mr. James Hsieh, specializing in machining of lathe accessories.

1988

The MANFORD brand was launched.

1994

Started to produce conventional milling machines.

1996

Developed CNC Vertical Machining Centers.

2002

Awarded the ISO-9001 certificate.

2006

Started ODM cooperation with worldwide major machine tool companies.

2008

Started using Metis PDM system for technical data archive, and for the basis of CRM system implementation.

2009

Completed development of VM-760 CNC Tool Room Milling Center with CITD plan subsidy.

2011

Main manufacturing factory moved to Nantou for expanding mass production capacity.

2013

Awarded the Cooperation Bronze Medal Reward by TTQS (Taiwan Train Quali System, Ministry of Labor).

2015

Began implementing ERP system for the plans of industry 4.0.

2016

Completed development of high performance 5-Axis Machining Centers VU-620 & VX-1300, and VF-1000 High Speed Machining Center.

2017

Celebrated 30 years anniversary. Completed development of HBM-110 Horizontal Boring and Milling Machine.

2018

Moved our headquarter to Taichung Precision Machine Tool Industrial Park.

2019

Manford was re branded and won an award for Taiwan Excellence.

2020

Today, Manford leads the way through Power & Determination.
